From Málaga Airport to Benalmádena by train
The most comfortable, fastest and cheapest way to reach Villa VR7 — no taxis, no hire car.

The C1 Cercanías train: direct, every 20 minutes
Málaga–Costa del Sol Airport has its own train station inside Terminal 3. It's served by the C1 Cercanías line, which runs along the coast between Málaga Centro and Fuengirola — and one of its stops is Torremuelle, just a 5–6 minute walk from Villa VR7.
- Frequency: a train roughly every 20 minutes, from early morning until close to midnight.
- Journey time: about 25 minutes from the airport to Torremuelle.
- Tickets: buy them at the station machines or with the Renfe Cercanías app. A single costs just a few euros.
Step by step from the terminal
- Coming out of arrivals, follow the "Tren / Train – Cercanías" signs to the station in Terminal 3.
- Take the C1 line towards Fuengirola (not towards Málaga).
- Get off at Torremuelle (about 8 stops, ~25 minutes).
- From Torremuelle station, the villa is a flat 5–6 minute stroll away. We'll send you the exact route with your booking and, if you share your flight details in the guest app, we'll be waiting at the villa to welcome you in person.
What if you'd rather take a taxi or ride-share?
There's a taxi rank right outside arrivals, and both Uber and Bolt operate in the area. The drive to the villa takes about 20–25 minutes. It's the most convenient option if you're arriving loaded with luggage or in the small hours; otherwise, most of our guests prefer the train.
A tip from your hosts
If your flight lands while the trains are running, it really isn't worth hiring a car just for the transfer: the same C1 line will serve you all week for trips to Fuengirola, the beaches and central Málaga. We cover it all in our guide to getting around Benalmádena without a car.
Your base right by Torremuelle station
Villa VR7 is a 5-minute walk from the train: arrive from the airport without any fuss.
